Some of St. Luke’s rising 9th graders would like to continue to meet as a group for Sunday school. However they are done with word searches, puzzles, and crafts. They want to put a new twist on Sunday school and use that time to give back to the community.
“You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor in your land.” –Deuteronomy 15:11
The goal of this “Sunday school class” is to support a community or non-profit group two Sundays a month, allowing for regular church attendance the other two Sundays. We will be starting this Sunday school program with a kick-off meeting on Sunday, September 13th. Any 9-12th grader interested, meet in the church office library at 10:00am. In this meeting we will discuss service options and dates. If anyone has a group or cause they would like to see supported or has questions about the program, please contact the church office.
