What would it be like if Jesus was born today?

Would we believe the Miracle?
How would it affect us?

The Bethlehem Project tells a story of how Jesus’s birth changed the children in the town of Bethlehem.  The settings are traditional and contemporary.  The costumes include an Innkeepers in traditional dress, town’s folk in poodle skirts, shepherds in western wear and lots of Angels with wings and halo’s.

The music includes traditional carols with a contemporary twist, 50s rock and roll, rap, calypso, baby angels singing the Gloria’s in Angels We Have Heard on High and O’ Little Town of Bethlehem with  do-wop background singers.

Through humor, and colorful characters we learn the powerful message of love salvation and reconciliation.  All children are encouraged to participate in the pageant.

We are handing out listening CD’s on Sunday, November 1, 2015 directly after church in the Choir room. Please listen to the CD and join us on Sunday, November 8th at 11:30 for our first rehearsal.  Readers will receive a script with music.

Rehearsals are every Sunday at 11:30 and last for 45 minutes.  Please be ready to tell me what part you are interested in.  We have lots of room for little shepherds with cowboy hats and baby angels.
