Have you checked out the big bulletin board in the Parish Hall? Please do. You can see and sign up for what is still needed for Adopt-A -Family. We have until Palm Sunday, March 20th to get items and or money donations in to help families in our St. Luke’s community.
With Adopt-A-Family coming to end that means Easter is right around the corner. The Easter Bunny has been notified and is excited to visit St. Luke’s again this year before, during and after the Easter Egg Hunt. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Egg Hunt will begin after the 8:30am service. The hunt is for children 5th grade and younger. Like previous years each age group has a certain area of St. Luke’s grounds to look for their plastic eggs. When the hunt is over please return the empty and, put back together eggs to the stage, in the Parish Hall so your children can get their prizes. Keep an eye out for the golden ticket. Age groups from preschool to 5th grade each have one golden ticket hidden. Bring the ticket to the stage to receive your prize. Thank you to the Senior Women who worked matching the eggs back together so they would be ready for the Egg Stuffers.
Have you reserved your spot for Lego Night. April 16th? It was so much fun last year we are bringing back Play-well TEK-nologies for a Kid’s Night. Just like last year the night will be Battle tracks themed. Each child builds a track vehicle trying to knock their opponent’s vehicle off the track.
This kid’s night is open to Kindergarten to junior high. Kindergarten and 1st graders need a participating adult to stay and help them build. There are only 16 spots available for this kid’s night. You can RSVP by giving your name to Josh Vance or Julie Williams. I will send you a confirmation letter so you will know that your spot has been reserved.
