Front Office:

The Parish Administrator handles a variety of duties from answering parishioner and community questions, to helping keep the books, to controlling entry to buildings, to keeping tabs on the rector. A small coterie of volunteers is available to act as receptionists when the administrator is away and to perform a variety of office tasks.

The Bridge:

The monthly newsletter is published by the Bridge Ministry Coordinator working in conjunction with the church office staff. Articles are written and submitted by the members of St. Luke’s. The newsletter provides an essential communications link among the people of our growing community, promoting the various activities and programs of our parish life.

Buidings and Grounds: This important committee, ably enhanced by the Sexton...

Buidings and Grounds:

This important committee, ably enhanced by the Sexton, cares for the facilities and landscaping of the campus. Volunteers with carpentry, plumbing, electrical and grounds experience aid in maintenance and upkeep. Hostesses open the building on a regular basis for visitors who wish to tour the historic edifice, including the museum housed in the church undercroft.

The Garden Club:

This club consists of a few folks with green thumbs who help weed, fertilize and plant new greenery in our parish gardens. On occasion they attend garden shows to learn new techniques.

Memorial Committee: This committee performs the ongoing function of receiving memorial gifts...

Memorial Committee:

This committee performs the ongoing function of receiving memorial gifts that are given to St. Luke’s. These gifts are acknowledged both to the donor and to the family of the person being remembered. The Memorial Committee works with the Rector to make decisions about selecting and purchasing appropriate memorials for the life of the parish.

Finance Committee:

This committee works with the Vestry to oversee the financial life of the parish. Committee members are appointed by the Vestry and serve three year terms. The Parish Treasurer and the Rector serve as ex officio members of the finance committee.
