Father Paul, as he is known to the people of St. Luke’s, has been an Episcopal priest for 26 years. He is a native of the Pacific Northwest and grew up in the Tri-Cities in Eastern Washington. Paul has been the priest at St. Luke’s since 1999. In addition to parish ministry, Paul has served as the Chaplain at the Annie Wright School and worked for Associated Ministries of Tacoma as a mental health chaplain. In his ministry at St. Luke’s, Father Paul has a passion for worship, pastoral care and the spiritual formation of people of all ages. For the past several years he has developed an initiative at St. Luke’s for the promotion of Biblical literacy in our parish.
Paul lives in Tacoma with his wife, Sallie. They enjoy gardening, walking, trips to the Oregon Coast, and visits to family, especially grandchildren. An avid golfer, Paul enjoys playing the many fine courses in the Puget Sound region.
